This is the last house I finished, but I think it has to be my favorite! :)
After making 19 houses, I realized I had one more to make and that I hadn't cut it out. Basically, I think my reasoning was the only fabrics I hadn't used for the houses were stripes, and that was because I wasn't sure how I was going to get them all going in the same direction. This just took a little fussy cutting, which wasn't really all that difficult. Sometimes a nasty head cold will do this to a person. We will see if this one actually makes it in the quilt, or if I chicken out and make it into a pillow.
Otherwise, the rest of the houses are pretty "normal."
If you can call pink and purple polka dotted houses "normal."
And now, whats left...four stars and the strip pieced borders which are going to be fun, and then making this into one big quilt. I think the others will be joining soon over at Thelma's blog Cupcakes n' Daisies, so make sure to see which quilt they have chosen to work on. Happy Stitching!! --Kristen
